(I'm skipping past Spain for a few days...don't worry, you'll soon get your fill! )
After all of our escapades out and around to other countries and cities we decided to spend some time digging into the sights built in right around us. Arcachon, a 45 minute train ride west of Bordeaux, plus a 20 minute bus ride along the coast, boasts a wonder. Sitting between a vast forest and the Atlantic ocean is a huge wall of the Sand Dunes of Pilat, the highest in Europe. For once, I will leave the pictures to say what I cannot.
How kind to install stairs! 117 Meters High

Hi Kjirstin and Jeremy, It is sooo wonderful getting to keep up with you two through these blogs. I am enjoying my "I remember" moments as you travel to the "must see" locals. Thank you Kjirstin for taking the time to keep us connected with you while you are so far away. It would be fun, though not very practical to hear about some of your trip through Jeremy's eyes as well. I know that he is very busy with school. Keep it coming, we are all addicted to these blogs and are constantly scanning the screen for another addition to your "book". Love and hugs to you both, Momma/Cindy
